We all know Windows 7 has been released with variations in features as different versions like  Windows 7 Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate. It could be great if we can install all these versions of windows 7 from a Universal DVD but microsoft has reverted back to need to use a separate disk for each version, each DVD is a small 51 byte configuration file called ei.cfg which tells the installer what version disc it is. It’s raining betas in Redmond. Microsoft just released the public betas for Office 2010, Web Apps and Office Mobile 2010. Visio 2010 and Project 2010 have also gotten public beta releases. The improvements to both of these very useful apps are really welcome, as they’ve both finally acquired the ribbon interface along with updates features and productivity boosts thanks to various visual changes as well as some behind the scenes work.
